Located on Sunnyside Road, Coast View is ideally located for a holiday in Woolacombe with the seaside village’s golden beach, shops and restaurants all within walking distance, and with the holiday home having its own car parking, trips to the beach are now even easier.
Woolacombe itself is a pretty seaside village that is a hive of activity from Easter through to the end of October with families and friends looking to spend time on the award winning beach, whilst in the winter it is a quiet relaxed destination for groups looking to explore the stunning coastline.
The main feature of Woolacombe is of course its beach, which is patrolled by lifeguards throughout the holiday season. The beach, which is three miles long has plenty of space for all its visitors and has something to offer everyone such as a weekend play area for children and quick counter food outlets in the summer, water sports including surfing and plenty of coastal footpaths that lead to neighbouring beaches.
In Woolacombe itself there are plenty of small shops to browse and various different pubs, restaurants and cafes. There is even a small supermarket in the village, and national supermarket chains will deliver to Coast View saving room in the car. On rainy days the nearby holiday park located on the outskirts of the village offers various activities to day guests, including pottery painting.
If looking to get out and about and explore North Devon there are many different towns and villages just a short drive away, including the Victorian harbour town of Ilfracombe and Lynton and Lynmouth on the Devon/Somerset border where Exmoor meets the sea. The area around Woolacombe is also ideal for outdoor activities such as walking with the South West Coast Path accessible within the village and horse riding provided at the nearby stable yard. Golf and cycling can also be enjoyed locally.
