As well as welcoming families and groups of friends, Coast View is also a dog-friendly Woolacombe holiday cottage. This large, pet friendly holiday home in Woolacombe is ideal for those looking to bring their four-legged friends away to North Devon with wood floors featured on the ground floor making it easy to sweep up the sand from the beach, an outside tap for washing off muddy paws and of course a good sized rear garden, which is fenced.
When out and about there are ample walks to keep your dogs exercised, including those along the South West Coast Path, which is accessible from the village and has clearly marked footpaths leading to the pretty village of Mortehoe and across to Baggy Point. Exmoor National Park is also less than a 30-minute drive and is a great place to enjoy a day out and can include a lovely lunch in one of the traditional pubs or tea rooms many of which are happy to welcome dogs in either their bar area or gardens.
If you are looking to spend the day on the beach with your dog, large parts of Woolacombe Beach are now dog friendly, however there are restrictions in place, so please keep an eye on the signs. Other beaches nearby include Saunton, which is dog friendly all year round and Croyde, which will only allow dogs after the end of October up until Easter.
